I’ve spent much of my academic career working with qualitative research — doing it, teaching it, talking about it, and helping others make sense of it.
I don’t believe good qualitative research comes from simply following a recipe. It comes from making thoughtful, defendable choices — and understanding why those choices make sense for your research.

Much of my work is about making research more accessible, practical and human. I enjoy working with people, sharing ideas, asking awkward questions, and helping researchers find approaches that work for them.
